Teams at Capital Lumber Company

Leads day-to-day yard and warehouse operations, including scheduling staff, overseeing forklift activity, shipping and receiving, order loading, inventory counts, remanufacturing, supplies, housekeeping, safety records, and employee training. Ensures policies, procedures, and customer service standards are followed while assisting the Operations Manager and maintaining accurate, efficient distribution activities.

Supports the sales and inside sales teams by receiving customer orders, providing pricing and product information, handling phone and walk-in inquiries, coordinating orders with yard personnel, assisting with customer issues, communicating order status to account managers, participating in physical inventories, and maintaining product knowledge.

Owns product lifecycle from concept to sale for lumber products: market research, pricing, vendor sourcing, inventory budgeting and management, sales enablement, product introductions, and supporting sales with training and special programs.
