Teams at Capital Factory

Build and manage relationships with government and defense innovation partners; translate their priorities into curated introductions, programming, events, and strategic partnerships. Coordinate founders, investors, mentors, and ecosystem participants; track agreements, deliverables, engagement activity, and outcomes. Monitor funding opportunities, support proposals and partnership materials, and provide internal insight into government priorities. Represent STATION Austin externally while ensuring partners receive responsive, organized support and meaningful year-round engagement.

Recruit technology startups into Capital Factory’s All Access Fund, identify promising founders, build relationships with CEOs, investors, and venture capitalists, and facilitate introductions. The role involves startup discovery through digital platforms, community and event participation, speaking engagements, office hours, deal-flow tracking, and publishing deal memos using AI tools. This is an on-site Washington, DC position requiring evening and weekend availability, strong communication, organization, networking, and startup experience.

Source and recruit technology startups into Capital Factory’s fund by identifying founders, evaluating opportunities, building relationships with entrepreneurs and investors, participating in startup events, making introductions, and managing deal flow in the CRM. The role requires strong communication, community-building, organization, technical credibility, and flexibility for evening and weekend events.
