Requires strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, stress management, and the ability to lift and restrain pets weighing at least 40 pounds.

Supports veterinarians and veterinary technicians by restraining pets, assisting with diagnostic imaging, preparing treatment and exam areas, disinfecting cages, laundering bedding, restocking supplies, and maintaining hospital cleanliness. The role requires handling pets weighing at least 50 pounds, working on one’s feet, prioritizing multiple tasks, communicating clearly, and cross-training as needed. Full-time schedules include days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holiday rotations.
