Design, build, deploy, and operate API-based backend services for a data-visualization platform. Work with Product, Design, and Data to deliver scalable, reliable solutions using Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Terraform and AWS. Improve reliability via testing, observability, CI/CD, and automate deployments. Participate in support rotations and incident management, and contribute to team processes and decision-making.

Lead quality efforts within an embedded product team: define test strategy, shift-left QA, build/maintain test automation frameworks, test web, mobile and backend systems, coach engineers, and drive process, tooling and documentation improvements.

Design, fine-tune, and deploy image/video ML models for real-time AI effects. Build LoRA training pipelines, perform quantization/pruning, enable on-device inference (CoreML/NNAPI/MediaPipe), and scale backend model-serving and rendering services. Prototype diffusion- and shader-based effects and collaborate with design and engineering to ship user-facing features.
