Coordinates the Resident Assessment Instrument process for Medicare and Medicaid residents. Completes timely MDS assessments, audits clinical documentation, coordinates care planning and reimbursement meetings, verifies diagnoses and physician certifications, tracks benefit days and census, supports accurate billing, trains staff, and prepares for regulatory audits while maintaining compliance with state and federal requirements.

Assists the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations in a long-term care facility. Supervises nursing personnel, ensures treatments and medications follow care plans and orders, conducts quality and safety rounds, oversees incident reporting and notifications, supports committees and staff development, completes evaluations, and enforces clinical, regulatory, and abuse-prevention policies.

Directs all nursing and clinical operations in a skilled nursing facility. Oversees resident care, nursing staff, care planning, infection prevention, regulatory compliance, survey readiness, quality improvement, risk management, staffing, training, documentation, emergency preparedness, and clinical communication. Maintains 24/7 nursing leadership responsibility and supports facility administration.
