Lead mechanical design and production readiness for composite (phenolic/elastomer) components. Drive prototyping, FEA and hand calculations, failure investigations, process controls, and cross‑functional manufacturing improvements to meet aerospace/defense standards and production goals.

Lead design and development of composite phenolic and elastomer mechanical components from concept through production. Perform CAD modeling, FEA and hand calculations, prototyping, testing, and root-cause analysis. Define scalable manufacturing and assembly processes, create process control documentation, and collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality to improve production and ensure aerospace/defense compliance and production readiness.

Verify completeness and accuracy of manufacturing travelers, material/process certifications, and traceability prior to shipment. Prepare customer data packages and Certificates of Conformance, support source inspections and audits, maintain document control and AS9100 compliance, escalate documentation issues, and support continuous improvement and 5S activities.
