Leads onsite managed IT services for a higher education campus, partnering with the CIO to oversee enterprise applications, Ellucian Colleague ERP, infrastructure, cybersecurity, service delivery, vendors, budgets, and staff development. The role combines executive leadership with hands-on operational oversight, incident escalation, modernization planning, compliance support, performance reporting, and continuous improvement across applications and technology operations.

Administers and maintains enterprise servers, identity services, virtualization, networking, security controls, backups, storage, and datacenter infrastructure. Monitors system health, troubleshoots complex issues, performs patching and vulnerability remediation, supports infrastructure automation and modernization, and provides escalation support. The role includes hands-on equipment installation, cabling, documentation, vendor collaboration, project delivery, change management, and occasional after-hours maintenance or emergency support.

Leads campus technology infrastructure operations, including Windows and Linux servers, networks, virtualization, cloud services, monitoring, backups, data centers, and incident response. Manages infrastructure staff, vendors, contracts, budgets, security, lifecycle strategies, and modernization initiatives. Partners with university stakeholders and technology centers of excellence to deliver reliable, secure, cost-effective services and maintain operational excellence.
