Supports the Superior Court Clerk’s financial operations by managing cash receipts, reconciliations, child support payments, invoices, budgets, bank accounts, payroll timesheets, and audits. Coordinates jury selection, summons, excuses, and compensation; orders supplies, issues notary certificates, and assists the public and court staff. The role requires applying GAAP, GASB guidelines, government purchasing practices, and Georgia child support rules with accuracy and sound organization.

Directs county planning and development functions: supervises staff, enforces building and zoning codes, drafts ordinances, manages budgets and consultants, oversees GIS and inspections, issues permits and certificates of occupancy, reviews construction plans, advises county leadership and coordinates with builders, developers, and emergency services.

Receive, prioritize, and dispatch emergency and administrative calls; provide medical instructions; monitor radio and CAD systems; maintain records and GCIC/NCIC files; complete required certifications and work rotating 12-hour shifts with on-call duties.

Respond to fires and emergencies to suppress fires, perform rescues, provide EMT-Basic medical care, inspect and maintain equipment and hydrants, complete incident reports and public education, and participate in training and fire prevention activities.

Supervise and secure inmates in the county jail: process/book inmates, conduct security rounds, searches, head counts, and perimeter checks; enforce rules, document incidents, escort and transport inmates, perform fingerprinting, respond to emergencies, and maintain records and facility safety.
