Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend services, APIs, distributed systems, and cloud platforms. Make architectural decisions, provide technical direction across teams, improve reliability and developer experience, troubleshoot production issues, and establish strong practices for testing, deployment, observability, and operational readiness. Collaborate with stakeholders, mentor engineers, contribute to technical roadmaps, and build reusable infrastructure and self-service capabilities.

Develop and maintain automated test infrastructure for embedded firmware, running tests on Linux servers and physical devices. Build Python test harnesses, investigate failures, and distinguish firmware regressions from infrastructure issues. Support web services, REST APIs, hardware test equipment, and microcontroller-based systems. The role requires Linux, Git, automated testing, debugging, and familiarity with embedded systems, while collaborating across global teams.

Build and operate scalable AI/ML infrastructure, model services, developer tools, and automated training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring workflows. Manage workloads on AWS and Kubernetes, optimize model inference and resource usage, implement observability, governance, security controls, and incident response, and improve reproducibility and release processes. Partner with Engineering, ML, SRE, Compliance, and Security teams while mentoring teammates and developing reliable AI capabilities.
