Leads Calvin University's university-wide strategy for community, belonging, intercultural engagement, and institutional climate. Advises the President, coordinates cross-divisional initiatives, assesses campus climate and belonging, develops measurable goals, supports organizational and student culture, partners with academic and administrative leaders, manages staff and resources, and represents the university externally. Requires strong executive leadership, Christian mission alignment, organizational change, conflict navigation, assessment, communication, and cross-cultural competence.

Coordinates employer relations, career center events, recruitment programs, and employer communications. Oversees front office operations, supervises student ambassadors, manages Handshake employer postings and accounts, and develops email, website, social media, and print communications. Facilitates career-readiness workshops, supports employer and student engagement, and collaborates on event assessment and improvements. Requires strong organization, communication, customer service, database management, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Coordinates incoming and outgoing mail, packages, shipping, carrier relationships, tracking systems, postage reporting, procedures, and campus-wide mailings. Provides customer service, resolves delivery issues, improves operational efficiency, and trains, schedules, and directs student employees. Requires knowledge of postal and carrier services, shipping software, process coordination, and a valid Michigan driver’s license.
