Supports county communications and media relations through newsletter and social media content, marketing materials, public relations, advertising programs, market research, database coordination, and administrative reporting. Manages multiple assignments, deadlines, budgets, and public-facing communications. Participates in the Public Information team supporting county officials and emergency operations during emergencies. Requires strong writing, editing, organization, communication, and project management skills.

Maintains and cleans an excursion boat, assists with boat handling, mooring, minor repairs, passenger boarding, public narration, and water-safety procedures. Supports seasonal vessel fitting-out and lay-up, monitors engines and equipment, maintains safety gear, assists passengers including wheelchair users, and performs related maritime duties. Requires weekend and holiday work during the May–October operating season.

Supports programs and activities for older adults by planning classes, recruiting instructors and participants, preparing communications, maintaining databases, answering inquiries, making referrals, teaching workshops, and performing clerical duties. Assists with senior meal service, including ordering supplies, food safety checks, dining-room setup, and fee collection. Requires customer service, confidentiality, organization, and physical handling of materials and food-service tasks.
