Leads statewide marketing, communications, public relations, brand management, volunteer recruitment campaigns, fundraising support, digital content, media relations, and advocacy for California CASA. Manages budgets, vendors, consultants, campaigns, and a marketing assistant while ensuring culturally responsive, accessible, and DEI-aligned messaging. Supports local CASA programs through training, shared resources, and communications consulting. The role is fully remote within California with occasional travel.

The Director of Policy and Legislative Affairs leads California CASA’s legislative advocacy, government relations, public policy research, statewide budget strategy, and systems-change initiatives. The role develops legislative agendas, policy briefs, testimony, and advocacy campaigns; advises executive leaders and the Board; manages lobbying and coalition relationships; coordinates local CASA advocacy teams; and uses statewide data to influence policy and secure public funding for children and youth.
