Leads manufacturing engineering for complex radar, electronic, mechanical, and integrated systems. Oversees design-to-production transitions, manufacturability reviews, process development, tooling, work instructions, prototype builds, first-article activities, production ramp-up, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and facility readiness. Partners with Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program teams while providing technical leadership and coaching. Initial travel is expected at 20–40%.

Develops and maintains Protora’s document-control and configuration-management system for technical documentation and product records. Manages drawings, specifications, bills of material, procedures, revisions, approvals, releases, baselines, and engineering changes. Coordinates with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Programs to resolve discrepancies, support audits, and ensure accurate documentation is available throughout the product lifecycle. The role also improves workflows and traceability and requires 20–40% travel initially.

Supports tethered aerostat system logistics operations by receiving, organizing, tracking, replenishing, repairing, and disposing of materials and hardware. Coordinates inventory control, warehouse usage, purchase requests, repair depot returns, and material movement across sites. Collaborates with internal teams, suppliers, government stakeholders, site operators, and field service representatives while supporting process improvements and contractual requirements. Travel and physical material handling, including lifting up to 50 pounds, are required.
