Accounting intern responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, completing client accounting engagements, processing payroll and sales/use tax, preparing federal and state tax returns, organizing client tax information, researching issues, and meeting deadlines. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, confidentiality, teamwork, and proficiency with office software and spreadsheets. Occasional travel to other office locations or client meetings may be required.
