Teams at Butler Machinery

Two-year paid college program combining classroom training at NDSCS with paid internships at Butler Machinery stores. Students learn Caterpillar systems, maintain a 3.0 GPA, complete required internship hours, secure housing, follow safety procedures, and perform hands-on diesel technician tasks. Graduates earn an AAS degree and transition to full-time technician roles.

Perform reconciliations, prepare and analyze month-end financial statements, support audits, post journal entries, resolve variances, collaborate with departments, and contribute to process improvements and special projects.

Learn Butler Ag's equipment business, systems (DBS, BMTS, AX, Texada), and sales/support processes. Shadow departments, build customer relationships, support product specialists with demos and start-ups, assist at trade shows, complete online product training, and travel within the territory for store support and events.
