Leads all financial operations for a public transit agency, including accounting, budgeting, payroll, cash and investment management, procurement oversight, grants, audits, insurance, compliance, and financial reporting. Serves on the executive leadership team, advises the Executive Director and Board of Trustees, presents financial trends and risks, manages federal and state funding requirements, and supervises three employees. Ensures GASB-compliant reporting, FTA requirements, internal controls, and accurate public accountability.

Volunteer board members advocate for affordable public transportation in Butler County, represent transportation-focused public, nonprofit, or private entities, fulfill legal and organizational duties, appoint and supervise officers and employees, and oversee the project coordinator. Directors serve three-year terms beginning July 1 and meet quarterly at the Butler County Regional Transit Authority Hamilton facility.
