Leads all financial operations for a public transit agency, including accounting, budgeting, payroll, cash management, investments, insurance, procurement oversight, grants, audits, compliance, and GASB reporting. Advises executive leadership and the Board of Trustees through financial analysis, forecasts, risk reporting, and strategic recommendations. Manages federal, state, and local grant applications and awards, oversees external audits and regulatory reporting, and supervises three finance and procurement staff.

Operate 35-foot transit coaches and 25-passenger cutaway vehicles on established routes, provide customer service, follow safety regulations, use onboard tablets/apps, and pass DOT and background checks. Work independently to safely transport passengers across Butler County.

Supervise daily transit operations, perform road supervision and dispatch duties, investigate accidents, train and evaluate drivers, manage schedules and manifests, handle customer inquiries, enforce policies, and support emergency responses to ensure safe, efficient public transportation service.

Volunteer board member to advocate for public transit and provide high-level governance oversight. Attend 10–20 meetings yearly, serve a three-year term, and bring interest in transit; familiarity with general financial statements is helpful. Final appointments by Butler County Commissioners.
