Teams at Burleigh County

Provide clerical, technical and paraprofessional support to legal staff: manage case files, prepare subpoenas and legal documents, maintain court calendar, notify witnesses, coordinate scheduling with courts and law enforcement, prepare exhibits, and perform general office duties and backups as assigned.

Serve as Burleigh County's primary communications professional: manage media relations, website and social media, develop public information campaigns and accessible communications, support emergency public information, and provide administrative support including records, invoices, and meeting materials.

Prosecute and defend criminal and civil matters, gather and review evidence, advise law enforcement and county officials, draft pleadings and legal opinions, conduct legal research, present cases at hearings/trials/appeals, and maintain working relationships with judiciary and law enforcement.
