Build trust-based relationships with Humboldt Park residents, organizations, and stakeholders; lead the Community Response and Engagement Workgroup; develop a neighborhood safety plan; analyze violence trends; coordinate interventions; organize outreach, events, surveys, and volunteer teams; conduct door-to-door canvassing; and represent BUILD in community meetings and public forums.

Manage end-to-end recruitment for BUILD, partnering with hiring managers to source, screen, and select candidates using ATS. Track hiring metrics, coordinate background checks, represent the organization at recruiting events, and provide HR back-up support for HRIS, onboarding, documentation, and compliance.

Part-time garden specialist who maintains urban garden plots, facilitates hands-on gardening education for youth, conducts community outreach and advocacy for food justice, manages supplies and records, and collaborates with staff, volunteers, and partners to integrate gardening programs.
