Teams at Build AI

Design and develop mechanical components for physical AI collection devices, including enclosures, mounts, fasteners, gaskets, and wearable structures. Own CAD, drawings, DFM/DFA, tooling, vendor coordination, and incoming quality with Shenzhen manufacturers. Collaborate with PCB and industrial design teams, validate products through drop and field testing, and iterate designs to improve manufacturing yield, durability, comfort, and scalability from prototypes to high-volume production.

Lead Build AI’s commercial function by personally closing complex, high-value deals with frontier AI labs and robotics companies. Define ideal customers, build pipeline, manage negotiations and contracts, structure pilots and multi-year partnerships, and collaborate with founders and technical teams. Establish a repeatable sales process, translate customer feedback into product direction, and eventually recruit and lead the sales organization.

Lead talent acquisition for Build AI’s rapidly expanding Shenzhen team. Responsibilities include managing search firms, building candidate pipelines through networking and outbound sourcing, conducting initial interviews, coordinating work trials, negotiating offers, and maintaining hiring records in Ashby. The role will recruit across software, hardware, supply chain, machine learning, logistics, compliance, and finance while partnering closely with founders and team leads.
