Teams at Buffalo City Mission

Provides comprehensive case management for individuals and families facing homelessness and other barriers. Responsibilities include client assessment, individualized service planning, housing and resource coordination, advocacy, supportive counseling, crisis intervention, referrals, progress tracking, confidential documentation, compliance reporting, and participation in audits. The role supports clients with housing stability, healthcare, employment, education, tenant education, and financial management.

Manages volunteers, community partnerships, donation drives, volunteer appreciation programs, and outreach events across Buffalo City Mission locations. Maintains volunteer records, coordinates donations and seasonal needs, develops church and organizational relationships, conducts facility tours, represents the Mission at community events, and oversees service initiatives. Requires strong communication, public speaking, organization, multitasking, and people-management skills, along with evening and weekend availability and alignment with the Mission’s Christian faith.

Leads Buffalo City Mission’s comprehensive fundraising and development strategy, including major gifts, individual giving, corporate partnerships, events, donor retention, planned giving, and volunteer services oversight. Manages the Development department budget, team performance, donor and community relationships, reporting, and collaboration with Finance. Serves as an external spokesperson and ensures fundraising goals align with organizational strategy and mission.
