Manage a portfolio of major and principal gift prospects, cultivating relationships, securing six- and seven-figure donations, and aligning donor interests with university priorities. Responsibilities include prospect identification, solicitation, stewardship, portfolio strategy, donor visits, campus events, record maintenance, strategic briefings, and extensive regional travel. The role collaborates with university leadership, gift planning colleagues, alumni, parents, and friends to advance fundraising outcomes.

Leads strategic engagement and cultivation programs for Bucknell’s highest-capacity donors and principal gift prospects. Designs individualized, multi-year cultivation plans; coordinates concierge-level donor experiences, campus visits, events, and leadership interactions; and partners with stewardship, donor relations, events, and university advancement teams. The role tracks engagement metrics, improves processes, and supports seven- and eight-figure philanthropic opportunities through highly personalized relationship management, discretion, and precise execution.

Provides individualized and group career coaching to undergraduate students, managing graduating seniors’ job searches from readiness assessment through execution. Delivers resume, cover letter, networking, LinkedIn, interview, workshop, and job-search guidance; creates customized search plans; connects students with campus, employer, and alumni resources; monitors progress; provides feedback; and reports outcomes to university leadership. This is a part-time, temporary, on-campus position working up to 17 hours weekly.
