The Financial Controller oversees APAC finance processes, providing support and guidance to teams, managing revenue, regulatory reporting, audits, and driving process improvements.

Provide on-site front-line technical support to a Sydney trading desk, maintaining network, storage, data-center, desktops and systems. Support Excel/VBA/Python desk tools, administer Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Active Directory, manage Linux VMs, assist storage migrations, and coordinate with APAC/US technology teams to resolve incidents and improve reliability.

Hands-on financial accounting role owning month-end/quarter-end close, journal entries, balance sheet substantiation, and core accounting schedules. Prepare IFRS financial statements, support variance analysis, FCA regulatory reporting (MiFIDPRU), ICARA and audit deliverables. Reconcile accounts using OMS/EMS and accounting systems. Advanced Excel required; Workday and NetSuite desirable.
