Provide front-desk reception and administrative support including data entry, member eligibility verification, clerical processing, fax/mail-merge handling, client communication, scheduling, and maintaining documentation and reception area.

Verify billable health insurance, obtain claim status via phone, use payer portals for inquiries, submit reconsiderations/appeals, and accurately enter information into systems. Participate in training and ongoing programs to stay current on reimbursement strategies and payer requirements.

Collect and verify Other Health Insurance (OHI) information from military retirees and dependents, enter verified data into site software, and provide customer service to patients and insurance representatives.

Post patient payments from EOBs and ERAs into the ledger, reconcile batches, resolve discrepancies and negative balances, apply manual payments, compile daily posting summaries, and access payer portals to obtain EOBs as needed while maintaining accuracy and timely account reconciliation.

Manage assigned accounts to resolve denied, underpaid, and unpaid insurance claims by analyzing payer responses, correcting and rebilling claims, submitting appeals, contacting carriers, documenting activity, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate reimbursement.
