Supports environmental engineering and post-disaster recovery initiatives through water and wastewater analyses, technical reporting, sustainable infrastructure planning, watershed and resource management, regulatory compliance, treatment-system modeling, permitting support, vendor coordination, and cross-agency engagement. The role contributes to resilient environmental and public health outcomes across Maui’s water, stormwater, wastewater, and related systems while assisting with project and issue management.

Perform hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, calibrate models with field data, analyze system performance, identify and design improvements, prepare master plans and technical reports, support project management, and mentor junior staff for water, stormwater, and wastewater systems.

Lead planning, design, and delivery of water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance and rehabilitation projects. Manage scope, schedule, budget, QA/QC, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and client communication. Mentor staff, contribute to standards, support proposals, and lead multi-disciplinary teams on large, complex infrastructure projects.
