The role applies Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and other quality methodologies while collaborating with engineering, production, supply chain, and customers. This is an onsite position in Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru, requiring rotating shifts.

Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and documents embedded software for semiconductor automation equipment. The role focuses on precision motion control, sensor integration, robotics, real-time systems, device integration, and wafer-handling control. Responsibilities include root-cause analysis, customer issue resolution, software engineering best practices, and integration of machine vision and machine learning technologies. The engineer may lead projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and support safe, reliable multi-device operation.

Own the strategy, roadmap, lifecycle, and performance of vacuum robot products for semiconductor automation. Conduct market analysis, gather customer feedback, define features with engineering and R&D, coordinate cross-functional teams, support value selling, manage budgets and pricing, and drive product quality, launches, enhancements, and end-of-life decisions. The role requires semiconductor manufacturing knowledge, matrixed collaboration, customer engagement, and 20% international travel.
