Provides public-facing library services, including circulation desk support, customer assistance, technology help, library card processing, holds, and material handling. Performs clerical and administrative duties such as data entry, reports, supply orders, requisitions, scheduling, and paperwork. Assists with recruiting, training, and supervising part-time staff and volunteers while interpreting library policies and supporting community outreach.

Provides children's reference and reader advisory services, develops and promotes youth collections, creates displays, and plans programs and class visits for children ages birth to 12. Builds partnerships with schools, childcare centers, neighborhood organizations, and community agencies; promotes library services; advocates for children's educational and social needs; and supports parents, caregivers, and educators.
