Provide front-line public service at the circulation desk, perform check-in/check-out and holds processing, assist patrons with technology, complete data entry, prepare reports and schedules, train part-time staff and volunteers, process library cards and materials, handle supply requisitions, and perform routine clerical and outreach duties.

Provides reference and reader advisory services, develops and promotes children's collections, and plans age-appropriate programs for children and caregivers. Builds partnerships with schools, childcare centers, and community organizations while advocating for children's educational and social needs. The role includes community outreach, collection displays, technology use, and participation in branch services. Requires a library science master's degree, New York professional librarian certification, strong communication skills, children's literature knowledge, flexibility, and availability for evenings and weekends.

Provides reference and reader’s advisory services, develops and promotes young adult collections, designs and evaluates programs for ages 13–17, maintains youth spaces, conducts school and community outreach, advocates for young adults, collaborates with local agencies, and applies library policies. The role requires professional library judgment, strong customer service, knowledge of young adult literature and programming, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.
