Conduct theoretical electrocatalysis research: model electrochemical environments, elucidate reaction mechanisms and active sites under operating conditions, correlate composition/structure with performance, design heterogeneous catalysts, perform electronic-structure and kinetic (TST, microkinetic, KMC) and machine-learning studies, coordinate with collaborators, and publish and present results.

Conduct research on coupling semiconductor light absorption to molecular catalysis, tuning interfacial microenvironments, and cascade catalysis to convert CO2 to liquid fuels. Perform synthesis and characterization of organic/inorganic/organometallic catalysts, electrochemical mechanistic studies, and collaborate with CHASE team and partner institutions. Employ advanced spectroscopies and synchrotron techniques for in-situ and in-operando analysis.

Design and validate mechanical components and systems for the Electron-Ion Collider using 3D CAD and FEA; prepare specs and SOWs; oversee procurement, fabrication, assembly, testing and installation; manage project plans, schedules, budgets; conduct design reviews and present results; collaborate with engineers, scientists, and technicians; provide engineering direction and reports.
