Secures and processes insurance pre-authorizations for medical and ancillary services, verifies patient insurance requirements, reviews utilization data, coordinates with clinicians and practice staff, documents authorizations in Allscripts, follows up on outstanding cases, and helps reduce payment denials while maintaining HIPAA and EMTALA compliance.

Supports clinical applications, EMR systems, database development, reporting, and healthcare data initiatives. Develops SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS solutions; troubleshoots production systems; performs performance tuning; supports clinical workflows, clinic setup, device onboarding, upgrades, and enhancements. Collaborates with clinicians, hospital leadership, and MIS teams to ensure accurate data and effective reporting. Participates in quality improvement, risk management, compliance, and patient information security activities.

Prepares, compounds, labels, and dispenses inpatient and outpatient medications under prescriber orders. Maintains controlled-substance records, medication stocks, supplies, equipment, and quality-compliance documentation. Educates patients on medication use, supports pharmacy personnel functions, participates in quality improvement activities, and provides pharmacy information and training to staff.
