Responsibilities include equipment introductions, Siemens PLC/HMI and motion-control expertise, system integration, electrical and electromechanical troubleshooting, machine commissioning, customer-site support, documentation, and diagnosing automation problems. The role requires extensive travel, shift flexibility, weekend availability, and hands-on work in manufacturing environments.

Provides electrical and controls engineering support for new equipment and system introductions. Acts as a subject matter expert in Siemens PLCs, HMIs, motion control, sensors, system integration, and electromechanical systems. Travels to customer sites for machine commissioning and troubleshooting, applies electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and programming expertise, and maintains work records. Requires shift flexibility, physical work in manufacturing environments, and 50%+ travel.
