Leads mechanical engineering projects at a tire manufacturing plant, including safety system design, CAD drawings, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and reliability improvements. Oversees contractors, develops project scopes, budgets, procurement documents, bills of materials, and schedules. Coordinates with production, maintenance, vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver projects safely, within budget, and according to quality and compliance standards.

Serves as a strategic HR partner for a manufacturing facility and product development operations team. Responsibilities include workforce planning, talent management, employee relations investigations, organizational development, HR compliance, union relationship management, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and continuous improvement of HR processes and reporting. The role is onsite in Akron, Ohio, and supports a safety-focused, high-performance manufacturing culture.

Leads the development, improvement, and maintenance of tire manufacturing processes. Evaluates production and laboratory data, establishes specifications, conducts experiments and trials, improves quality and productivity, reduces costs, and supports new product development. Investigates nonconforming materials, develops corrective actions, ensures compliance with standards, and collaborates with plant, technical center, and corporate teams. Uses statistical methods to solve complex process problems and mentors junior engineers.
