Support road surfacing and highway maintenance crews by laying, raking, levelling and finishing asphalt, operating surfacing plant and tools, performing site preparation and basic maintenance, following safety procedures, working nights and across multiple sites.

Operate and inspect static and mobile plant at a Cardiff concrete plant: load/unload aggregates and sand, manage raw material stock and quality, perform basic maintenance, yard/traffic control, housekeeping, and enforce site rules. On-the-job training toward a Level 2 Plant Operations NVQ is available.
