Lead safe, efficient quarry operations including blasting, crushing, screening and stockpiling; manage production planning, budgets, maintenance, quality control, regulatory compliance, and develop the team while driving continuous improvement and sustainability.

Provide hands-on technical leadership for Breedon's enterprise data platform. Design and deliver secure, scalable Azure and Microsoft Fabric data platforms, pipelines, standards, architectures, testing, monitoring, governance, and CI/CD practices. Lead modernization and technical strategy, improve reliability and costs, support AI retrieval workflows, and mentor data engineers while collaborating with senior stakeholders across the business.

Supports the Surfacing Foreperson in coordinating surfacing crews, allocating tasks, and maintaining safe, efficient site operations. Performs hands-on asphalt laying, raking, levelling, finishing, site preparation, and plant and equipment checks. Helps deliver toolbox talks, monitors safety and quality, reports defects and incidents, and maintains an organised work environment. The role requires flexibility to work across sites and shifts, including nights, along with practical surfacing experience and a full UK driving licence.
