Lead the company’s accounting and financial operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, reconciliations, reporting, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. Maintain accurate QuickBooks Online records, coordinate with external CPAs, analyze financial performance, and advise leadership on efficiency and profitability. Support scalable financial processes and cross-functional operational improvements.

The Controller leads day-to-day accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, reconciliations, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. Responsibilities include managing QuickBooks Online, monitoring cash flow and budgets, coordinating with external CPAs, analyzing financial performance, improving internal controls and accounting procedures, and supporting forecasting, financial planning, and operational scaling. The role provides financial insights and recommendations to leadership while ensuring accuracy, compliance, confidentiality, and timely reporting.

Provide customer support, resolve client questions, research and approve potential clients, process documents, train new users on software, and maintain proprietary production-information databases. The role is fully remote but limited to candidates based in British Columbia, Canada. Familiarity with the entertainment industry and casting process is beneficial.
