Research Analysts support economic consulting projects through statistical analysis, financial and economic modeling, industry analysis, literature reviews, and research. They work with senior consultants, principals, and academic advisors on complex issues involving finance, competition, energy, regulation, and corporate economics. The role requires interpreting messy data, applying economic theory, building models, monitoring industry trends, and communicating complex concepts effectively to support clients, law firms, corporations, governments, and expert-witness engagements.

Associates conduct quantitative economic and financial research, frame research approaches, manage projects, supervise staff, and apply finance and economic theory to litigation, strategy, regulation, and public policy matters. They gradually develop client relationships, marketing, and business development expertise while working collaboratively in an academically oriented consulting environment.
