Provides hospital-wide leadership and administrative oversight during leadership absences. Coordinates patient flow, admissions, discharges, transfers, emergency surgery, organ donation, staffing, safety, quality, and incident response. Requires variable shifts, weekends, after-hours, and possible on-call work.
