Leads an independent, nationally impactful research program in statistics or a related behavioral science field. Responsibilities include conducting laboratory research, collecting and analyzing data, securing external grants, publishing findings, presenting nationally, supervising research staff and trainees, collaborating with faculty, and contributing to professional organizations and institutional committees. The role also supports training programs, budget preparation, and research administration.

Leads internal penetration testing, vulnerability remediation, threat hunting, security technology administration, purple team exercises, and incident response. Coordinates external security engagements, produces risk reports, develops repeatable SOC processes, and serves as Cyber Incident Commander. Requires strong cybersecurity, compliance, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, along with on-call availability.

Assists with human and animal research studies by preparing materials and stimuli, collecting and analyzing data, recruiting and scheduling subjects, maintaining records, calibrating equipment, and reporting findings. Supports laboratory safety, equipment maintenance, experiment scheduling, and development of research procedures. May assist with electronic device construction and maintenance and use computers to analyze and plot experimental results.
