The Head of Microgrid Controls leads the controls engineering team, designs control systems for microgrids, and integrates AI tools. Responsibilities include architecture, programming, commissioning, and team development.

Leads pre-NTP commercial and operational readiness, including sales-to-delivery handoffs, customer and subcontractor contract negotiations, subcontractor sourcing and pricing, risk-register management, readiness reviews, and structured transitions to delivery. The role protects project margins, resolves scope and commercial gaps, establishes go/no-go criteria, and improves preconstruction processes, subcontractor coverage, and handoff quality.

Lead technical design and execution of microgrid projects (solar PV, BESS, generators, controls) from concept through commissioning. Produce SLDs, equipment specs, perform load/energy modeling, design SCADA/controls, manage engineering deliverables, coordinate permitting/interconnection, support procurement, provide field and commissioning technical support, mentor engineers, and improve engineering standards.
