Develops and scales molten oxide electrolysis processes for low-emission steel production. The role designs and executes pilot-scale experiments, improves process parameters and flow diagrams, analyzes experimental results, and communicates findings across R&D and operations teams. Requires strong electrochemistry and chemical engineering expertise, materials characterization experience, and proficiency with technical software. The position involves international travel, pilot plant and laboratory work, and exposure to hazardous chemicals and high temperatures.

Develop predictive steady-state, dynamic, and plant-wide process models for molten oxide electrolysis operations. Apply heat and mass balances, optimization, operations research, and scientific computing to improve process control, throughput, robustness, and resource efficiency. Engage hands-on with pilot plants, laboratories, experiments, and operations to validate assumptions and provide actionable engineering recommendations. Collaborate in a cross-disciplinary team and travel internationally quarterly.

Administer and optimize NetSuite, SharePoint, SolidWorks PDM, and related business systems. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, configure ERP processes, manage integrations, assess process risks and benefits, and maintain accurate business documentation. Customize and administer SharePoint intranet resources while supporting engineering, finance, supply chain, operations, R&D, business development, and HR teams.
