The Senior Mechanical Engineer leads product development projects, designing and testing prototypes, and collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams to innovate in various sectors, including defense and medical.

Hands-on technical lead for embedded/firmware development: architect and implement RTOS-based firmware, hardware bring-up, driver development, board-level debugging, and system integration. Lead design reviews, mentor engineers, establish processes and best practices, ensure real-time performance and reliability, and coordinate across electrical, mechanical, systems, and product teams. Role requires US-person eligibility and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance. Office-based in Waltham, MA.

Lead hands-on mechanical design from concept through prototype, validation, and production transition. Perform CAD, analysis, prototyping, testing, and design verification. Provide technical and project leadership, mentor junior engineers, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, engage customers, drive risk mitigation, and support proposal and scoping activities.
