Partner with sales and customers to analyze production processes and design mechanical automation concepts and station-level solutions. Prepare detailed quotations, estimated BOMs, coordinate suppliers and internal engineering, support costing and presentations, improve team tools/processes, and mentor colleagues.

Design, program, test, and commission PLC and HMI control systems for automated machinery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot I/O, motion, and communications, create documentation, ensure safety/quality compliance, and support on-site commissioning and customer acceptance.

Lead mechanical design for custom automation systems using SolidWorks. Develop concepts, produce detailed drawings and BOMs, coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing, and project teams, mentor junior designers, generate RFQs, troubleshoot build issues, and support applications and standards development.

Design, develop, and commission integrated automation systems combining PLC controls, robotics, and 2D/3D machine vision. Program PLCs and HMIs, integrate I/O and communications, configure vision platforms (Cognex, Keyence, LMI, Matrox, Mech-Mind, Photoneo), implement AI-enabled inspection, and perform onsite commissioning and troubleshooting to optimize system performance and safety.

Lead development of machine vision and automation solutions, act as primary technical contact, perform site visits and feasibility reviews, prepare detailed quotations, collaborate with engineering and manufacturing, support customer engagements, maintain CRM and project documentation, and drive continuous improvement.

Design, program, integrate, test, and commission PLC/HMI and robot control systems. Lead on-site installation, FAT/SAT, troubleshooting, documentation, and mentor junior programmers while improving programming standards.

Consultative sales role to grow TrueLight machine vision business across North America. Identify and qualify new opportunities, present demos and proposals, manage strategic accounts, collaborate with applications engineering to ensure successful project delivery, and support marketing and market intelligence. Frequent customer and industry event representation with travel as required.
