Teams at Book of the Month

Own the Order Management and Renewal Management Systems supporting Book of the Month’s subscription business. Responsibilities include managing product roadmaps, optimizing shipping SLAs, reducing involuntary churn, evaluating billing and payment solutions, coordinating finance and engineering initiatives, and developing detailed monitoring and reporting systems. The role requires strong technical product management expertise, customer focus, exceptional communication, and meticulous attention to transactional accuracy.

Develop and maintain customer-facing web and mobile application features using modern frameworks and languages. Collaborate with product, design, QA, and backend engineering teams to deliver scalable, performant, maintainable software. Write documentation, conduct code reviews, integrate AI coding tools, and expand full-stack capabilities while solving ambiguous technical problems and supporting rapid project delivery.

Manage Book of the Month’s brand partnerships, events, sponsorships, and experiential activations from concept through execution. Responsibilities include project planning, partner and vendor relationships, budgets, contracts, logistics, marketing strategy, social content, PR outreach, performance reporting, and KPI analysis. The role bridges Growth and Editorial teams while building relationships with publishers, media, journalists, cultural tastemakers, and consumer brands to increase brand awareness and membership growth.
