Plans and oversees geophysical survey campaigns for mineral exploration, processes and quality assures geophysical data, and performs modeling, analysis, and interpretation. Communicates findings and recommendations to stakeholders, collaborates with exploration geologists and technical teams, and contributes to improved geophysical methods, workflows, and best practices.

Leads the Group Business Control team and supports executive decision-making through financial and operating results analysis. Responsibilities include monthly performance follow-up, quality assurance, forecasting and budgeting coordination, scenario modeling, executive and Board presentations, and improvements to reporting processes, analytical models, and financial tools. The role partners extensively with Group Finance, business areas, subsidiaries, and senior stakeholders.

Lead strategic rock mechanics activities for the Garpenberg underground mine, supporting long-term mine planning, stope design, sequencing, infrastructure placement, ground support, geotechnical risk assessments, numerical stress modelling, and geotechnical block modelling. Provide technical guidance to junior staff, coordinate external consultants, contribute to research and innovation, and collaborate with geology, exploration, mine planning, and technical teams to enable safe, stable, and economically efficient resource extraction.

Develop long-term rock mechanics strategies for Garpenberg’s underground mine expansion. Provide geotechnical input to mine plans, assess risks involving stopes, sequencing, infrastructure, and ground support, support numerical stress modelling, maintain geotechnical block models, optimize resource extraction, communicate technical strategies, and contribute to research and innovation initiatives.
