Summer industrial engineering internship focused on company-assigned projects and hands-on process improvement at a wood manufacturing plant. Interns will work to increase throughput, reduce downtime, and improve quality or yield while gaining experience in the manufacturing industry. The three-month internship is based in the Western Oregon Region in Medford, Oregon, and is open to junior or senior engineering students.

Purchases, prices, markets, and manages assigned general line products for warehouse and customer sales. Maintains inventory, margins, replenishment, and product knowledge while developing sales strategies, promotions, and marketing plans. Evaluates market opportunities, competitors, suppliers, and new products; maintains customer relationships; provides pricing and sales presentations; and supports branch profitability, warehouse operations, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
