Four-month paid operations internship focused on troubleshooting, maintaining and automating operational and recording systems for a music tech company. Build automation scripts (Python, SQL/MongoDB, Bash), ensure data quality and scalability, document solutions, and collaborate with the Operations Manager and business teams to improve processes.

Support the Ads team by validating and analysing Radio, TV and VOD advertising data, producing recurring and client-ready reports, assisting certification/audit checks, managing data outputs and client requests, automating Excel workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate delivery of insights.

Support accounts receivable by maintaining customer aging reports, tracking collection claims, recording payments, performing bank reconciliations, and assisting the Accounting team with administrative and manual tasks.

Operate, maintain and improve BMAT's hybrid on-premise and cloud infrastructure. Build reusable IaC/config modules, automate operational tasks, respond to incidents, identify reliability/security risks, and support engineering teams with deployments and troubleshooting.

Lead design, implementation and deployment of complex Python backend features. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot and optimise performance, lead code reviews, mentor colleagues, and translate architectural visions into actionable plans while contributing to process improvements.

Develop, test, and deploy backend systems to ingest, process, and serve large audio and metadata assets. Build and maintain data pipelines, ensure quality and reliability, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot performance issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features.
