Leads test engineering and technician operations for spacecraft manufacturing, overseeing test strategy, architecture, equipment, procedures, troubleshooting, budgets, staffing, and cross-functional execution. Ensures engineering rigor, supports product development and customer needs, evaluates manufacturability, manages equipment and outsourced work, and reports progress to executives. The role also contributes to operational planning, business development, technology implementation, safety, and departmental organization.

Leads GNC subsystem responsibility across multiple small-spacecraft missions, including design, analysis, testing, deployment, mission operations, and new business development. Develops GNC technologies, tools, infrastructure, hardware selections, simulations, and embedded algorithms. Participates in design reviews, hardware and software testing, on-orbit commissioning, and operations. Mentors engineers, supports rapid prototyping, and may manage personnel while advancing spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control capabilities.

Supports supplier quality improvement by qualifying and auditing suppliers, reducing supplier defects, processing nonconforming materials, closing corrective actions, evaluating SCAR responses, and maintaining supplier scorecards. The role collaborates with procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to assess risks, resolve technical quality issues, and support continuous improvement. It requires manufacturing quality experience, knowledge of quality management systems, and familiarity with aerospace, electronic, and mechanical hardware assurance methods.
