Lead and manage the Electrical and Controls Engineering team to design vehicle electrical systems and controls across powertrains. Oversee projects from concept to launch, drive next-generation electrical architecture and EV development, improve manufacturability and cost, mentor engineers on DFMEA/DFM, manage supplier PPAP and CapEx, resolve field issues, and coordinate cross-functionally.

Lead evaluation and modernization of mechanical joining methods across buses, standardize fastener catalogs and specifications, ensure FMVSS 221 compliance, define torque and error-proofing strategies, troubleshoot manufacturing/field fastener issues, mentor engineers, and introduce structural adhesive solutions to reduce cost and improve durability.

Convert dealer body and seat plan requests into detailed, manufacturable 2D drawings and designs. Review feasibility, support prototyping and testing, coordinate with engineering, QA, production and suppliers, and ensure compliance with industry safety standards.
