The role identifies budget and timeline risks, supports mitigation strategies, presents insights to stakeholders and management, and contributes to cost reduction initiatives while ensuring compliance with accounting, organizational, and federal requirements.

Optimizes school bus manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, labor efficiency, and delivery. Provides production-line technical support, develops tooling and process instructions, evaluates product changes, prepares capital funding requests, and implements improvements using SPC, PFMEA, control plans, and root-cause analysis. Maintains ISO 9000 documentation, supports engineering changes, and collaborates across manufacturing and engineering teams.

Leads the Chassis Engineering Design group, supervising design engineers and managing concurrent vehicle development projects. Oversees requirements, chassis and powertrain design, BOM creation, validation, product launches, issue resolution, quality improvements, and cost optimization. Ensures designs are robust, manufacturable, cost-effective, and compliant with regulatory and customer requirements.
