Designs, develops, tests, and supports electrical systems for distributed energy resources and microgrids. Responsibilities include subsystem design, product improvements, technical support, performance testing, root cause analysis, and implementing design changes with manufacturing, installation, and field service teams. Collaborates with senior and cross-functional engineers while applying electrical power systems, power electronics, and control systems knowledge.

Leads electrical design and engineering for fuel-cell installations, low- and medium-voltage distribution, grid-connected and islanded microgrids, and power-system studies. Serves as Engineer of Record where licensed, ensures code compliance, reviews equipment and vendor packages, resolves field and commissioning issues, coordinates design teams, supports customers and utilities, and develops engineering standards. Requires a Professional Engineer license and extensive power-systems experience.

The role involves evaluating new product designs, validating them through testing, analyzing field failure data, and collaborating with teams for corrective actions in power conditioning systems.
