The Staff Application Management Specialist manages BlackSky's enterprise applications lifecycle, vendor management, budgeting, and ensures system security and integration with IT and Security teams.

Develop, design, and maintain production software for autonomous mission management of a satellite constellation. Contribute to architecture, implement scalable algorithms in Python and Go, support production operations, on-call rotations, launches, and cross-team integration for automated constellation operations.

Lead and grow a small legal and contracts team providing counsel on commercial, U.S. government and international contracts, export and regulatory compliance, corporate governance, SOX and risk management. Negotiate and draft complex agreements, support strategic corporate activities, manage outside counsel and litigation strategy, and advise senior leadership on operational, product, and regulatory matters in the space/defense context.
