Leads the technical integration of acquired companies into BKF’s technology environment. Owns architecture, migration strategy, technical risk, schedules, cutover and rollback plans, and execution standards. Provides technical direction for Microsoft 365 tenant migrations, identity, collaboration platforms, file systems, endpoint deployment, and cloud infrastructure. Performs hands-on engineering, scripting, automation, troubleshooting, documentation, and hypercare support while coordinating internal teams, vendors, consultants, and business stakeholders across multiple concurrent integrations.

The Project Accountant supports month-end close, reconciliations, client invoicing, billing accuracy, project cost reviews, financial reporting, and project setup in Deltek Vantagepoint. The role researches billing questions, resolves project billing issues, and supports project managers with budget-versus-actual analysis. It requires strong mathematical, organizational, communication, and Excel skills, with hybrid work from the Oakland office one day per week.

Reviews civil engineering, grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, floodplain, and development plans for compliance with agency standards, ordinances, codes, permits, and project conditions. Performs engineering calculations, coordinates with surveyors and development stakeholders, resolves code and specification issues, manages stormwater plans, updates departmental policies, and trains staff on new requirements. The role requires a civil engineering degree, at least five years of public works experience, strong communication skills, and 10–30% travel.
