Responsibilities include reviewing coverage, policies, exclusions, contracts, reserves, and legal exposures; investigating claims; preparing coverage letters; managing counsel and adjusters; negotiating settlements; and ensuring regulatory compliance. Provides customer service, documentation, reporting, and timely claim resolution.

Manage California workers’ compensation claims across the full lifecycle, including coverage and compensability determinations, investigation, reserving, litigation management, negotiation, settlement, and resolution. Direct defense counsel, independent adjusters, and other third parties while ensuring regulatory compliance, accurate documentation, timely claims handling, and effective service to business partners, claimants, and counsel.
